Substitute teachers help keep the school day calm, structured, and consistent when a regular teacher is out.
We are always accepting applications for our substitute teacher list.
We are looking for people who are:
• Reliable and punctual
• Calm, patient, and encouraging
• Comfortable working with middle and high school students
• Able to follow lesson plans and daily routines
• Respectful of all students
• Comfortable supporting students who may need reminders, redirection, or help staying organized
Experience
Experience in teaching, tutoring, special education, coaching, childcare, or camps is helpful, but not always required.
All substitute teachers must complete a background check before working with students.
