Focus Plus Academy grew out of our own family’s search for the right educational environment for a capable student who learned differently.
We saw firsthand how much the right teacher, the right environment, and the right kind of support could change a student’s experience of school — and their family’s experience, too.
We wanted a school where students could be challenged academically while also receiving the understanding and support they needed to be successful. A place where relationships mattered, where learning differences were understood, and where students could feel like they belonged.
Through that experience, we recognized a gap in the educational landscape for students like ours.
So, we decided to build the school we had been looking for, here in
the community we call home.
Focus Plus Academy is deeply personal to us, and we are proud to create it for our family
and for other families in our community.
